José Miguel Gabutti, Northwest Mexico Program Associate, assists the team on connectivity and land conservation issues and supports the work related to geographic information systems, seminar coordination, field trip support, and report preparation to raise awareness of and support for protected natural areas and ecological connectivity in Mexico. Gabutti holds a degree in Environmental Biology from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. His interests focus on island biogeography and the ecological roles of species.
