Kyle Wilson
Wildlife Technician

Kyle Wilson is a Wildlife Technician conducting fieldwork on solar-wildlife interactions in our Western Region. He received his B.S. from the University of Colorado Boulder. He brings research experience from projects with tribal organizations, local communities and national parks, including Yellowstone National Park, Midway Atoll, and the Lava Beds cave systems. Kyle recently conducted studies on bison and brucellosis, avian disease ecology and small-mammal plague distribution.

Kyle is a member of the Navajo Nation from Ganado, Arizona. In his free time, you can find him out adventuring, whether it be hiking a 14er, bouldering or swimming in a lake. He enjoys spending time with his dogs and cats and continues the practices of his culture, Navajo/Dineh. He is Tse nijikini, born for Tabaahi, his maternal grandfathers are To tsohnii, and his paternal grandfathers are Ashiihi.
